Recently, a 5.6 magnitude earthquake struck Cianjur Regency, West Java Province, causing significant material and moral losses as well as casualties. This tragic event prompted PP Hospitality, a subsidiary of PT PP Properti, Tbk, together with its hotels—PARK Hotel Cawang-Jakarta, PRIME PARK Hotel Bandung, PRIME PARK Hotel & Convention Pekanbaru, PRIME PARK Hotel & Convention Lombok, and PALM PARK Hotel & Convention Surabaya—to unite in providing humanitarian assistance to the affected victims.
The collected aid was swiftly delivered to Team Jabar Quick Response at the Cianjur Arts Council and subsequently distributed to various posts across Cianjur city and other isolated areas. The assistance included a variety of items such as food and beverages (rice, cooking oil, sugar, baby formula, and more), daily necessities (soap, shampoo, detergent, and others), as well as medicines.
“With this aid, we hope to ease the challenges faced by the victims in the evacuation shelters,” said Dio Pratama, Marketing Manager of PP Hospitality. “We also hope our contribution gives the victims strength, reassuring them that they are not alone and that recovery is possible after the earthquake,” he added.
This initiative is part of the company’s ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts to support those in need. Moving forward, the PP Hospitality team along with its hotels will continue to respond quickly in delivering humanitarian assistance wherever it is required.
